FAQ

Common questions

Does it work on sites other than YouTube?

Yes. It cleans audio from any browser tab — streaming services, online courses, podcasts, video players. Focus Mode's layout options, Shorts Limit and Auto-scroll are YouTube-specific; everything else works anywhere.

Does it remember my settings?

Yes — automatically, per website. Cleaning intensity, playback speed, Volume Boost level and Video Focus are remembered for each site, so every site behaves the way you left it. Focus Mode's master switch is global.

How do I change a shortcut?

Click the shortcut badge next to any feature in the popup, choose "Change shortcut", and press your new key combination. Reset to default is one click away.

Will the AI removal sound perfect?

The AI separates speech from music in real time, which is a hard problem. Results depend on the mix — vocals usually come through clearly, but some music energy can remain. The intensity slider lets you choose the trade-off between cleanliness and audio quality.

Does it slow down my computer?

No. The model is small and optimized to run efficiently in your browser. It only uses CPU while cleaning is active.

Can I use it on multiple tabs?

Cleaning runs on one tab at a time — switch tabs and it follows your active session. Playback speed and Focus Mode work on all tabs.

Is it really free?
